A former tae-kwon-do champion, she studied physical training education at the Université de Montréal until 1996, when she decided to enroll in an entirely different kind of school... the National Circus School in Montreal! There, she discovered the art of the aerial curtain and soon developed two numbers which combine acrobatics, dynamic movements, dance, strength and flexibility.
Sensual and spectacular, SoFranie's two aerial acts play with extreme notions, creating figures which evoke images of life and death, earth and space, shadow and light, struggle and self-abnegation. Her grace and beauty will simply take your breath away.
